Stammer productions is an independent dance and performance company based in Glasgow, Scotland. Founded in 2002 by Choreographer and dancer Colette Sadler, stammer productions facilitates the creation and production of Sadler’s choreographic work in collaboration with artists from the field of dance, performance, visual arts and experimental music.
Colette Sadler’s work reflects a conceptually motivated dance and choreographic practice. Since 2002, under the name of stammer productions, she has produced six full length dance performance works that have toured to major contexts for European dance and performance including; NottDance festival, alongside The British Art Show at Nottingham contemporary, Kaaitheatre ‘Performatik09’ Festival Brussels, ImpulsTanz Vienna, Spring dance Festival Utrecht Netherlands, Tanznacht Festival Berlin, ‘Something Raw’ Festival Amsterdam, TRAMWAY Glasgow, NRLA/New Territories, Sophiensaele Berlin, Campo Arts Centre Ghent and Plateaux 09 / Biennale du val-de-marne Créteil, France.
- Stammer productions works on a project basis bringing together dancers, artists, composers, writers and production support from across Europe for each new work.
Stammer productions has and continues to work in collaboration with a network of Scottish and International organizations and choreographic centres including Creative Scotland, Glasgow Life, Hauptstadt Kulturfonds Berlin, TRAMWAY Glasgow, Dance4 Nottingham, Goethe Institute, Dance Base Edinburgh, Ufer studios Berlin, PACT Zollverein Essen, and WPZimmer Antwerp.
Stammer productions has also received International co-production awards from NPN (National Performance Netz) Munich Germany, South Bank centre London/Jardin d’Europe Network and Dance4 Nottingham UK.
